Software Quality Assurance Analyst

The Software Quality Assurance Analyst has the primary responsibility of participating in the testing and gaining user acceptance of our software products and its integration points to ensure that the software meets or exceeds specified standards and user requirements. Other responsibilities would include managing incoming requests, gathering requirements, and communicating with users and development team regarding requests and/or projects. Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Primary responsibility is testing products for production readiness and communication of defects to development team, management, and users.
  • Creating Unit Tests, Regression Tests, Integration Tests and executing these tests according to established plans, by creative thinking with existing product knowledge, as well as customer expectations within their workflow.
  • Analyze and debug test failures.
  • Some manual tests prior to releases until automated testing is sufficient.
  • Responsible for signing off on updates with our integrated products.
  • Participates in the creation and review of documentation to provide internal and external knowledge transfer.
  • Helps with technical escalations from support.
  • Drafts and edits test plans and/or testing scripts.
  • Manages request queue and gathers requirements as needed.
  • Communicating with end-users and development team to keep everyone informed of tasks and progress.
  • Attend daily and weekly team meetings.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Azure DevOps
  • Unit Test development (with Visual Studio preferred)
  • Regression Test development
  • Integration Test development
  • Test Script development
  • Variety of QA tools and best practices
  • DevOps agile boards, automated builds and nuget packages is preferred
  • Knowledge of C#, WinForms, WPF, React Js and/or React Native is preferred
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
  • Familiarity with wide range of Microsoft products
  • Build servers
  • Production release best practices
  • Knowledge of other technologies used within the IT industry
  • Familiar with Agile software development methodology
  • Able to troubleshoot and resolve computer software issues.
  • Certifications in any related technology desirable
  • 4+ years of related experience with computer hardware, software and testing or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree or associate degree with equivalent experience or Career Training Program or Technical Certificate(s).

  • Work Environment:This job operates in a professional office environment where standard office equipment such as computer, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines are utilized. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
  • Travel:No travel required.
  • Location:Tria Health is currently located in Overland Park, KS but will be moving to Kansas City, MO (Crossroads neighborhood) in 2022.
